VAWC 2025

VAWC 2025 – Bienenfarm/Berlin 7-10 of August

VAWC 2025 – Discover the Spirit of Vintage Aerobatics at Flugplatz Bienenfarm
The Vintage Aerobatic World Championship (VAWC) returns in 2025 to a venue that has become a vibrant center of historic aviation. From August 7th to 10th, join us at Flugplatz Bienenfarm, just an hour west of Berlin, for an unforgettable celebration of vintage aerobatics, camaraderie, and classic aviation.

This year’s VAWC is hosted by QUAX – Verein zur Förderung von historischem Fluggerät e.V., known for its dedication to preserving and flying historic aircraft. Since 2017, QUAX has transformed Bienenfarm into a living hub of historic aviation, embodying its motto: “Out of the museum and into the air!” With a growing fleet of over 20 vintage planes and many additional historic aircraft operated by its members, QUAX brings aviation history to life every day and shares its spirit with the community.

At Flugplatz Bienenfarm, the grass runway (1500 meter, flat) and open skies create ideal conditions for aerobatics. Beyond flying, the welcoming QUAX spirit shines in evening bonfires, live music, and the camaraderie of aviation enthusiasts. Nearby, the Havelland countryside and Berlin’s cultural treasures offer plenty to explore.

VAWC 2025 will be more than a competition – it will be a celebration of the beauty and history of aerobatics, powered by the passion of the QUAX community. Stay tuned for details at vintageaerobatic.com and quax-flieger.de and save the date: August 7th-10th, 2025.

We can’t wait to welcome you!

VAWC 2025 Contest Director

Hello and a warm welcome to all contestants, judges, officials, visitors and spectators.
My name is Markus Eiglsperger a Bavarian airman, over 50 years in aviation. This year I am your contest director for the VAWC in Bienenfarm airfield, hosted by the Quax group.  For many years I accompanied Vintage Aerobatic World Championship events in Denmark, Germany, England and now again in Germany for the third time.  It is a pleasure for me to see the vintage planes dancing in the sky, piloted by enthusiastic friends, for pleasure and fun. In this spirit I will guide you through this contest, that is not driven by the stubborn pursuit of victory.  Let’s have joy and fun with fantastic and safe flights.
